Victorian Style Steampunk wooden Verge movement clock lamp by Ovdiem. This item is very old and deserves to be a museum piece.

I was lucky to find this great piece of history, and make it loved again. It truly deserves to be a centre piece in any house.

I believe this clock was made sometime around the 1800s in Germany, and I believe that it's a Foliot Verge. The clock mechanism has all it's necessary gears, and I chose to lay it on its back and turn it to a one of a kind genuine antique steampunk lamp.

In order to make this clock work again, you'll need to hang it upside down without the lamp base, have a suitable rope that goes around the bottom gear, and a big rock to use as pendulum. It was used in the villages during and before the 1800s, you can google search Foliot Verge for photos. One off design, pure Victorian steampunk and nothing else.

Resting on ash wood that has been burnt with torch to darken its colour. Copper pipes connected to the lamp, stabilised with brass pipe clip. Fully dimmable lightbulb and on wire dimmer switch.

Antique style hand braided main's wire. Antique style Brass lamp holder.

Measures around 30 cm high with lightbulb, and 38cm long and 15cm wide. You can place any lightbulb you desire as long as it's a screw fit e27. Simply one of a kind, both industrial and a wonderful piece of art. I'm a lamp maker for many years, mostly antique steampunk lamps.
